How this browser-based remover works
Gemini places a semi-transparent white sparkle over image pixels. For supported layouts, the tool aligns a known transparency mask with that visible mark and reverses the alpha blend channel by channel.

Your browser decodes the file into an in-memory canvas. There is no image upload or generation request.

Multiple local templates, sizes and candidate positions are scored automatically; no manual selection is required.

The visible white overlay is mathematically reversed. Use the split preview to check edges, then export a new PNG.

Does YIX upload my image?+
Not during watermark removal or download. The media stays in your browser unless you explicitly confirm an optional AI follow-on action, which uploads the cleaned result to your private YIX media storage.
Does it remove SynthID or C2PA data?+
No. It only targets the visible sparkle overlay. Invisible watermarking and provenance metadata are outside this tool and should remain available for authenticity checks.
Why can a faint outline remain?+
Perfect reversal requires the same mask, size, position and pixel values used when the mark was added. Compression, resizing, screenshots and later edits can change those pixels, so inspect the preview before download.
Can I use it on any image?+
Use it only on media you own or have permission to modify, and do not remove a visible label to mislead people about the source or authorship of an image.
Does it support video?+
Not in this version. Image-only processing keeps the tool fast, predictable and entirely independent from YIX generation, account and payment systems.
