# YIX: selected public page text This file contains the homepage image guide and FAQ, followed by the introductions from currently available image model pages. It is not an archive of every article. ## YIX AI image generator URL: https://yix.ai/ YIX turns text prompts or reference photos into downloadable AI images. Sign-in and credits are required to generate. ### How to create and download an image 1. Describe the image you want, or add a reference photo using a model that accepts images. 2. Sign in, select a model, aspect ratio, quality and image count, review the credit total, then choose Generate. 3. Review the result and download it. To edit it further, download the image and upload it to Image to Image; a new generation costs credits. ### Do I need to sign in, and how many free generations do I get? Sign in before generating. New accounts receive 0 free generation credits; there is no daily free image allowance. Purchased credits share one account balance across image and video tools. Browsing examples and preparing prompts are free; downloading an existing result costs no additional credits. ### Will my image have a watermark? YIX does not add a visible YIX watermark to generated downloads. This does not remove marks already present in an input or guarantee that generated content will contain no lettering or marks. ### How long does generation take? There is no reliable fixed completion time. Waiting includes both queue time and processing, which vary with the model, settings and demand. Follow the task status; do not start another paid task just to check progress. ### What can I create? Create illustrations, product scenes, portraits and posters from text; supported models can also edit reference images. You must have rights to your inputs. Image models create still images, not finished videos or verified identity documents. ### What sizes and formats can I download? Sizes and formats depend on the model. For GPT Image 2.6 text-to-image, the choices are 1024 × 1024, 1536 × 1024 or 1024 × 1536 px, exported as PNG. Other models have their own ratios and tiers; Recraft SVG produces vector files. You can request 1–4 images per generation. ### When is this tool a poor fit? Exact faces, product labels, small text and geometry can change. It is not a reliable way to recover missing historical detail or produce an official ID photo.
